Proliferated callus was obtained on half-strength MS media supplemented with 1.40µM IAA. The callus extract showed considerable DPPH radical scavenging, hydroxyl radical scavenging and ferrous ion chelation activity with IC50 value of 16.05, 170.7 and 29.16µg/mL respectively.
