Abstract

ConclusionFeeding powdered bovine plasma protein to a patient made hypoproteinemic by a Meleney ulcer, was associated with an elevation of the plasma protein value. A large measure of this increase occurred in the albumin fraction. A daily intake of more than 500 g of protein was well tolerated by an ill patient.
