Abstract

1. On excess of corticosteroids in the body, brought about by single and multiple administrations of H to rats, we have observed an increase in the activity of the angiotensin-converting enzyme in the microsomal fraction of the hypothalamus, hippocampus, striate body, and hypophysis. 2. Single and multiple administrations of H to rats lead to an increase in the activity of the renin-like enzyme in the hypothalamus and hippocampus, and to its decrease in the striate body. 3. After single and multiple administrations of H we have detected a different directivity in the shifts of kininase I activity in the parts of the rat brain investigated.
