Abstract

Objective To study the effect of humanistic nursing intervention on the pre-operation emotion of patients with gallstone.Methods Totals of 84 patients with gallstone operation during the period from October 2012 to October 2013 were randomly divided into control group ( n=42 ) that received routine nursing and observation group ( n=42) that received humanistic nursing intervention.The SAS scores and SDS scores on admission and pre-operation in the two groups according to the self anxiety scale ( SAS) and the self depression scale (SDS), and the nursing satisfaction degree in the two groups were detected and compared.Results No significant difference was found in the scores of SAS and SDS between two groups on admission (P〉0.05). Compared with control group, the SAS scores (33.7 ±10.0 vs 48.3 ±12.0),and SDS scores (42.0 ±13.0 vs 55.0 ±15.0) in observation group on the pre-operation were significantly reduced (t=3.54,3.67,respectively;P〈0.05).And the nursing satisfaction degree in observation group was obviously higher than that in control group(95.2%vs 81.0%;χ2 =4.09,P〈0.05).Conclusions For the patients with gallstone operation, the humanistic nursing intervention can significantly improve their pre-operative negative emotion, increase the nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
