Effect of hospital follow-up nursing on disease control and life quality of pulmonary tuberculosis patients

Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of hospital follow- up nursing of pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Methods A total of 100 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, the control group was only given guidance in hospital, the observation group was given followed- up nursing based on the control group, two groups were compared with compliance, disease control and quality life. Results After 3 months, the compliance of medication, diet, exercise, regular inspection in the observation were higher than those in the control group, the sputum negative conversion rate was higher than that in the control group, chest CT changes was better than that in the control group, with statistically significant(P<0.05). Life quality in the aspect of role limitations, bodily pain, general health, vitality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant(P< 0.05). Conclusions Hospital follow- up nursing can improve the compliance behavior of pulmonary tuberculosis patients. It is conducive to the control the disease and improves the life quality of patients.
