Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of holistic nursing intervention on patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with heart failure. Methods Ninety-eight patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and heart failure admitted to the Fifth People's Hospital of Wuxi from July of 2016 to January of 2018 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 49 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received holistic nursing. The length of hospitalization, the score of nursing satisfaction and the effect of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The length of hospitalization in the control group was (18.08±3.63) d, and the nursing satisfaction score was (85.17±3.48) scores. The length of hospitalization in the observation group was (9.52±2.41) d, and the nursing satisfaction score was (98.36±0.19) scores. The treatment time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction score was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the control group was 79.59% (39/49), and the total effective rate in the observation group was 97.96% (48/49). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with heart failure, holistic nursing can help to improve the clinical therapeutic effect and the satisfaction of nursing, and promote the recovery of patients'condition, which is worthy of popularization and application.
