Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing on bad mood, postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of patients with radical gastrectomy. Methods A total of 30 patients in this hospital from April 2016 to April 2017 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the order of admission, 15 cases of each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given high quality nursing. The complication rates, Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)score, Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)score and nursing satisfaction scores of the two groups were compared. Results After the nursing intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the patients in the two groups were significantly reduced compared with those before the intervention. The scores of the observation group after the nursing were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the time to get out of bed and stay in hospital in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The mean satisfaction score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of quality nursing for patients with radical gastrectomy can improve the patients' bad mood, reduce the incidence of various postoperative complications, and improve the level of nursing satisfaction.
