Abstract

The 7A09 aluminum alloy was subjected to T6 heat treatment by means of microstructure analysis and mechanical property testing. The results show that the best solid solution treatment process of 7A09 aluminum alloy is 470°C*1 hr. The transverse tensile strength of 7A09 aluminum alloy reaches 555.9MPa, the elongation of 7A09 aluminum alloy reaches 13.5%, and the cloth hardness reaches 152.6HBW. Compared with the cast aluminum alloy, the tensile strength, elongation and hardness increase by 10.3%, 8% and 13.5% respectively, and the mechanical properties of 7A09 aluminum alloy are significantly improved. The mechanical properties of the alloy are significantly improved.
