Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of health education on clinical self -efficacy of severe cholangitis patients undergo-ing surgery.Methods A total of 200 severe cholangitis patients hospitalized from January 2010 to December 2012 in our hospital were re-ceived health education.A comparison was done between pre -and post -health education in terms of effect of clinical self -effica-cy.Results After health education , the patient＇s health behaviors in daily life , medication and treatment were all significantly improved （ P〈0.05 ）;patients satisfaction of nursing service was improved significantly （ P〈0.05 ） .Conclusions Health education may improve the patients＇self-efficacy.It is effective in enhancing curative compliance , deferring the development of diseases and developing health be-haviors.
