Abstract
mRNAwere greater (P< 0.0005) in the ampullar versus the isthmic oviduct. In summary, the EP2 receptor subtype was more abundantly expressed in the equine oviduct thanwas the EP4 receptor, and expression of both receptor subtypes was greater in the ampulla versus the isthmic oviduct. The relative roles of these receptors in regulating embryo transit through the oviduct of the mare remains to be determined.
