Abstract
Objective To explore the effect hardiness conception utilization in nursing intervention on anxiety and depression of ovarian cancer surgery patients .Methods One hundred ovarian cancer surgery patients were chosen and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table, each with 50 cases.The control group received the routine nursing , and the observation group received the different stages and key points nursing intervention according to the hardiness conception including the cognitive , emotional and behavioral adjustment on the basis of the routine nursing .The levels of anxiety and depression were evaluated by the self-rating anxiety scale ( SAS) and self-rating depression scale ( SDS) before and after intervention between two groups .Results The cases of without , mild, moderate, severe anxiety in the observation group were respectively 0,10,17,23 cases before the intervention , and were 0,11,16,23 cases in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant ( Z =1.45, P〉0.05 ); after the intervention, the cases were respectively 13,18,12,7 cases in the observation group , and were 0,16,21, 13 cases in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-1.99, P 0.05);after the intervention, the cases were respectively 12,17,11,10 cases in the observation group, and were 0,16,17,17 cases in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-2.01, P〈0.05).Conclusions The hardiness conception utilization can reduce the negative emotions including anxiety and depression , and can help patients to cooperate with the treatment , and improve the effect of operation , and promote the rehabilitation of the disease .
