Abstract
Summary CCC and B-Nine promoted the rooting of musk melon hypocotyl cuttings both in continuous light dnd dark but Phosfon and abscisic acid inhibited it, the effect being more in dark. GA 3 inhibited rooting and the inhibition became enhanced by CCC and B-Nine. While the promotive effects of IAA and CCC tended to be cumulative, TIBA and kinetin reduced the effectiveness of both CCC and B-Nine.
