Abstract

Grit refers to persevering in the face of adversity and maintaining effort and interest over time, despite setbacks, adversity, and growth plateaus. Self-esteem refers s to a person’s entire private sense of worth or value. The aim of this quantitative correlational study is to know the relationship between Grit and Self-esteem. 100 women in the age group of 18 to 32 Participated in the study, purposive sampling method was used to select the participants. The data was collected using the Rosenberg self-esteem scale and the grit scale. The significance of the relationship between the variables was checked by analyzing the data collected using Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The results show that there is no significant relationship between grit and self-esteem. Keywords: Grit, Self-esteem, Women
