Abstract

We investigated the flux flow resistivity for a Bi-2212 bulk superconducting cylinder under various magnetic fields and frequencies. The flux flow resistivity increased as the field amplitude and frequencies increased. Furthermore, an abrupt increase in the flux flow resistivity due to ‘flux jump’ was observed under some conditions. However, the resistivity remained at a low value on the order of 10-7Ωm even when ‘flux jump’ occurred with a fully penetrated field.
