Abstract

20LiF-(20-x)V2O5-60P2O5-xFe2O3(x=0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, wt%) glass was prepared by melting quenching method. X-ray diffraction(XRD) demonstrated the amorphous nature of glass. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) measurement showed high thermal stability. Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy tests studied the changes in the microstructure of the glass. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) test analyzed the changes of V(2p) and Fe(2p), and also showed the changes in the content of bridging oxygen(BO) and non-bridging oxygen(NBO) in the glass. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) analysis showed that the introduction of Fe2O3 would change the ionic mobility and electronic mobility of the material. The above test results showed that the applicable doping of Fe2O3 in this series of glasses can improve both the stability of material and its conductivity, which is conducive to its application as an electrode material.
