Abstract

Ordered iron-doped mesoporous titania was prepared using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as template through a hydrothermal process. The influence of Fe-doping on the pore structure of mesoporous titania was studied by small-angle X-ray diffraction and N 2 adsorption–desorption analysis. The ordering of the pore channels and the thermal stability of the mesostructure were improved after the incorporation of iron into TiO 2 framework. A larger specific surface area and a more uniform pore distribution were obtained for the Fe-doped mesoporous titania.
