Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of family-centered nursing intervention on the development of mental and motor function in children with cerebral palsy. Methods A total of 57 children with cerebral palsy from December 2013 to December 2014 were selected as the control group, and routine nursing was performed.57 cases of children with cerebral palsy received from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected as observation group, and the nursing intervention centered on the family was carried out.The nursing efficiency, the mental development index before and after the nursing, the index of motor function development and the normal development of nursing of the two groups were observed, recorded, compared and analyzed. Results The nursing efficiency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of mental development index and motor function development index of 9 months and 12 months were significantly higher than those before nursing, the scores of mental development index and motor function development index were significantly higher than those of control group at 9 months and 12 months after treatment.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The normal rate of development in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Family-centered nursing intervention can improve the nursing effect in children's cerebral palsy rehabilitation, promote the development of children's mental development and motor function and improve the normal rate of development.It is worth popularization and application.
