Abstract

During preparation of TESE biopsy, erythrocytes dominate the suspension making it difficult to visualize sperm. To overcome this issue, erythrocyte-sperm separation medium (ESSM) can be used. The aim of this study was to test whether the motility and the markers of sperm maturity were adversely affected by ESSM treatment.
