Abstract

Objective Analyzing emotional intelligence dimensions of the clinical medical students and their present medical ethics cognition status,to discuss the effect of EQ cultivation on medical ethics education.Methods Making an investigation in 79 medical students from Sept.2010 to July 2011 and self-made questionnaire (SQ).The questionnaire is divided into five dimensions,which include medical ethics cognition,interpersonal & communication skill,emotion self-control,attitude to the disadvantaged groups,and teaching methods.Results There are obvious changes of emotional intelligence in four dimensions.Conclusions EQ cultivation is based on medical ethics education.It can improve medical students' cognition of medical ethics so as to establish good medical ethics for medical practice.
