Abstract

In this article, two electric-field and electric-current stimulation modes are designed based on a triboelectric nanogenerator to examine the effect of electrical stimulation modes on the antibacterial properties of silver–zinc-oxide (Ag/ZnO) nanowires. The triboelectric nanogenerator converts biological mechanical energy into electrical energy to power the antibacterial system, and Escherichia coli is used as the antibacterial object. The results suggest that electrical stimulation increases the sterilization rate to 51.71% ( P P P
