Abstract
Abstract The adsorption behaviour of solvents whose molecules differ in polarity, functional groups and shape and the effect of the less polar diluent was investigated. The surface excess was determined for various combinations of diluents and polar solvents using the modified thin-layer frontal chromatography technique.
