Abstract

The relation between fraction impacted and collection efficiency of particles in a flowing suspension on a body is delineated. The effects of inertia, diffusion, and particle-surface interaction are given by parameters correlating relaxation time to diffusion time and deposition velocity by surface force to that by diffusion.
