Abstract

AbstractIn present days, river sand is extricating in tremendous quantities for utilization in normal strength and lightweight concrete. Moreover, the fine aggregate which is sand gets to be more costly due to its significance in making concrete. The present paper speaks to the tests made on concrete by supplanting waterway sand with the combination of manufactured sand, copper slag, and ferrous slag. Various types of mixes were prepared for concrete by replacing river sand with different percentages of crushed stone aggregate, copper slag, and ferrous slag. Destructive and non-destructive tests were conducted for the prepared specimens, and the results obtained were found satisfactory for mix type M3. The results discussed in this paper obtained from destructive and non-destructive tests methods are plotted and represented.
