Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Dexamethasone combined with Comiphene on serum sex hormone level in patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Methods 108 patients with PCOS treated in our hospital from July 2016 to July 2017 were selected and divided into 2 groups according to the different treatment plans, with 54 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Clomiphene, and the observation group was treated with Dexamethasone combined with Clomiphene. The efficacy, estrogen level, ovulation, and pregnancy were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 87.04%, higher than that in the control group (68.52%) (P<0.05). The contents of P and E2 in the observation group were more than those in the control group after treatment, but the contents of T and LH were less than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the ovulation rate was 77.78% and the pregnancy rate was 72.22% in the observation group, both higher than those in the control group (55.56% and 44.44%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome, Dexamethasone combined with Clomiphene can improve the clinical curative effect and endocrine, balance the sex hormone level, and promote the ovulation and pregnancy.
