Abstract

Perovskite solar cells have established their place as one of the most exciting solar cell technologies currently under investigation. The efficiency of solar cells based on perovskite has rapidly increased to over 25%, making this the fastest-advancing solar cell technology. The impressive increase in efficiency has led to an enormous surge in interest. One of the effective ways to achieve reproducibly efficiency perovskite is the deposition method. Here CH3NH3PbBr3 light absorber materials was deposited on the PEDOT:PSS layer via one-step and two-step spin coating methods and their photovoltaic performance are compared. Inverted perovskite solar cells with ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CH3NH3PbBr3/PCBM/Al structure have been investigated. The morphological, structural, optical and electrical properties of the deposited perovskite are found to be critical and the higher performance was obtained from two-step deposition process.
