Abstract
Studies on the effect of cGMP on the proliferation of granulation tissue and collagenogenesis in experimental wound healing have shown that cGMP promoted more rapid formation and differentiation of fibroblasts rose thereby promoting an accelerated formation of collagen. Histological and biochemical findings correlated with wound planimetry data. In the course of stimulation the wound healing surfaces diminished more quickly as compared to the control.
