Abstract

Cortisone treatment of T. lewisi-infected rats did not cause inhibition of the production of Taliaferro's antibody albastin or of its maintenance. In fact, the duration of the infection may be diminished by cortisone. Cortisone at the levels used, therefore, did not exert a deleterious effect, and arboxybenzeneboronic acid, 2-acetamidobenzene-1,4terminal glioma patients. Sodium perhydrodecaborate in untoward effects, Intravenous injections of 3-amino resulted in respiratory arrest, which failed to respond to assisted respiration. Comparative reports were made on the results of orthovolt (250 kv) and supervolt therapy (cobalt cannon and ultrahard x radiation of a 22-Mev betatron) of tumors of the cervix uteri, bladder, and oral cavity. The comparison of the 5-year survival quota showed the superiority of the high volt therapy, Other advantages, such as improved tolerance, skin protection, and possibility for the application of higher site doses with extensive protection of the surrounding healthy tissue were indicated. These results depend partially on personal information or to publications which are difficult to obtain in Germany.
