Abstract
The microstructure of alloy D19 is studied and the effect of prior treatment of the alloy in a corrosive medium on the parameters of nonuniformity of the fields of plastic strains under conditions of uniaxial tension is evaluated. Results of uniaxial tensile tests of flat specimens with a dividing grating with cell size commensurable with the characteristic grain size are used for determining the longitudinal and transverse microstrains, the principal microstrains, their intensity, and the parameters of the strained state of the grains. One- and two-point joint distributions and correlation functions of the components of microstrains in the microstructure of a sheet from aluminum alloy D16 are plotted experimentally. The probabilities of occurrence of local overloads in individual grains and their propagation to couples and triples of grains are determined.
