Abstract

Metathesis of propene was studied in a flow system at 423 K and atmospheric pressure on CoO·MoO3/Al2O3 catalysts having different compositions. Initial activity of the catalysts with constant Mo content increased with increasing Co content, but the rate of deactivation increased in a similar way. The activity of catalysts with constant Co content increased but the selectivity decreased with increasing Mo content.
