Abstract

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the quality of life of patients with hepatic arteriel chemoembolization.Methods Two hundreds patients were randomly divided into hepatic arterial chemoembolization groups ( n =100) and hepatic arterial chemoembolization combined with general care groups ( n =100).According to different psychological status and postoperative complications,positive and effective nursing interventions were given,the group of patients received hepatic arterial chemoembolization were given quality of life questionnaire to investigate quality of life situation.Results After three months,the tumors of 65 patients in therapy group decreased obviously than preoperative and the liver function recovered; 35 patients of new niduses who asked for the second intervention therapy.The tumors in therapy plus general care group decreased obviously than preoperative and the liver function recovered.The confidence of those patients improved and the ability of take care of themseves and social adaptation improved.Conclusions The hepatic arterial chemuembolization is effective,it can cut off the blood of the tumor and have small trauma and high safety coefficient.It can decrease obviously the postoperative complication and improved the quality of life of the patients with comprehensive nursing intervention.
