Abstract

The relationship between the initial composition of typical metallized solid fuels, physicochemical transformations during their combustion, and intensity of failure of structural materials under the action of jets of combustion products is experimentally studied. Condensed components of combustion products (aluminum and iron oxides) are found to play the determining role in the process of failure of structural materials. Key words: solid fuel, combustion, composition, failure, condensed components.
