Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of comfort care on patients with peripheral inserted central catheter(PICC).Methods Thirty patients with PICC admitted from May to December 2012 were chose as control group,30 patients with PICC admitted from January to July 2013 were chose as the observation group.The patients in control group adopted PICC routine traditional nursing,the observation group were given comfortable nursing intervention system.The comfort degree and complications were compared between the two groups.Results In the observation group,the comfort degree after catheterization and complications rate had significant differences compared with the control group.Conclusions The comfortable nursing can alleviate the anxiety,pain and complications of patients with PICC,and it is worthy of promotion and application.
