Abstract
This paper presents the effect of column dimensions in pressure production for sea wave energy in electricity generation. The designed column for pressure accumulation from the sea wave was based on the pre-developed mathematical modeling. The proposed mathematical modeling has been theoretically verified based on the Physic, Electrical and Mechanical Laws. Previous simulations have indicated that the proposed mathematical modeling worked accordingly; whilst in this study it is meant to verify practically on site in terms of the produced pressure with several column dimensions. Experiments were conducted at the sea shore, located at east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Results obtained from the experiment revealed that the developed mathematical modeling and proposed prototype are feasible for the implementation of electricity generation based on the sea wave signal.
