Abstract
Effect of the crystallography of Ni 3Al(γ ′) precipitates along grain boundaries of NiAl(β) on the interphase boundary sliding of (β/γ ′) interface was examined using β bicrystals. Interphase boundary sliding occurred preferentially at incoherent (β/γ ′) interface and the sliding displacement increased with increasing deviation angle from the Kurdjumov–Sachs orientation relationship.
