Abstract

Cement production industries consumes huge quantity of energy and yield a sum of unwanted produces (CO2), which harmfully disturb the exhaustion and environmental of natural assets. This delicacy to natural balance has to use manufacturing industrials by-products as supplemental cementitious substantial in making of concrete. Strained out for substituting cement partly in concrete short of negotiating on its strength parameters. Also decrease conservatory gases and ecological way of supervision of waste. A different ultra-fine substantial materialized in market place is termed alccofine. Hence, this study used alccofine as a binding ingredient for cement replacement. Subsequently this an innovative material, this research work is tried out with the mixture of Ground granulated Blast furnace slag (GGBS) and Fine GGBS. The specimens tested consists of OPC 53 grade and M20 grade concrete with 0 %, 30 % and 60 % GGBS and fluctuating quantities of fine GGBS 0 % and 10 % used. Totally 54 cubes, 18 cylinder and 18 Prisms were cast and tested in the workshop with six altered proportion mixture of cement, GGBS and fine GGBS. (C100G0FG0, C70G30FG0, C60G30FG10, C40G60FG0, C30G60FG10, C90G0FG10). This investigation is carried out Compressive Strength (CS) at 7,14 and 28 days, Elastic modulus (EM) and Flexural Strength (FS) at 28 days mature. The maximum CS of concrete is attained by consuming GGBS 30 % and fine GGBS 10 % is 39.42 N/mm2. C60G30FG10 is 18.5 % greater than the normal mix. Results displays that concrete add in coarse and fine GGBS have greater CS and Fine GGBS developed the strength properties of concrete as well.
