Abstract

1. The developed method of laboratory investigations makes it possible to estimate on the basis of the change in the discharge of a flow through a hole in gypsum the effect of the chemical composition of a seeping liquid on its stability. This makes it possible to select an injection solution whose composition does not have an adverse effect on the stability of gypsum. 2. It was established that solutions containing components of the oxaloaluminosilicate formulation on interacting with gypsum not only do not dissolve gypsum but form on its surface quite difficultly soluble compounds (calcium oxalate, calcium hydrosilicates), which can be regarded as films protecting gypsum from dissolution. 3. The results of using the oxaloaluminosilicate solution for additional solidification of the rocks of the foundation of the Kama hydrostation permit recommending this solution for wide use when creating grout curtains in finely jointed rocks containing gypsum. 4. A study of the neoformations forming during seepage of the oxaloaluminosilicate and silicate solutions, especially with large dilutions, permits considering these solutions as prospective additives to clay, clay-cement, and cement grouts when stabilizing gypsiferous rocks.
