Abstract

The contribution of cell structure on the mechanical properties of AlSi10Mg alloy fabricated by laser-powder bed fusion (L-PBF) was quantitatively investigated. A linear relationship between (cell diameter)−1/2 and strength was observed, with a slope of 127 MPa∙μm0.5, demonstrating a higher sensitivity of strength to cell diameter compared to grain size.
