Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effect of cardiac education programme on CAD knowledge and knowledge retention among university nursing students in the north of Jordan. Pre-test-post-test experimental randomized controlled design was used. Nursing students were randomly allocated either to the experimental group and attended cardiac educational program and or to control group who did not receive any intervention. Coronary Heart Disease awareness and knowledge questionnaire was used to measure students’ knowledge about CAD.
