Abstract

This paper studies the influence of the mass of carboxymethyl cellulose on the SCIA sample of the sodium alginate biogel ion electric actuator. An experimental platform is built to study its deflection displacement and output force characteristics. The internal structure of the ion electric actuator was observed by a scanning electron microscope. Further test SCIA samples with infrared and electrochemical workstation. Studies have shown that when the mass of CMC is 0.25 g, the comprehensive performance of the SCIA sample is the best, the output force performance is good, the ion channel is the largest, and the response speed is fast. The maximum output force is 2.675 mN, the maximum deflection displacement is 17.137 mm, the maximum response speed is 0.176 mm/s, and the maximum specific capacitance in electrochemical performance is 96.95 mF/g. However, with the increase of CMC and excessive cross-linking, the performance of SCIA samples decreased.
