Abstract

1. For high-carbon steels with uniformly distributed globular cementite the dependence or the strain-hardening coefficient on ferrite grain size is similar to that observed for single-phase metal. 2. An increase in cementite particle volume fraction with the same ferrite grain size leads to an increase in the value of m. 3. The effect of ferrite grain size and distance between cementite particles on the value of σo is additive.
