Abstract
Objective To approach the effect about advanced milk secretion, added milk secretary volume, relief breast tenderness and development of newborns through breast massage in earlier period after parturition.Methods 600 normal labor primiparas in our hospital during 2010 year were collected and 300 cases in each group.The control group were treated with the routine nursing after parturition and the observe group were treated with the routine nursing and breast massage in earlier period.Time of milk secretion, volume and breast tenderness and physical development of newborns were compared between the two groups.Results Compared to the control groups, the milk secretion time in observe groups was advanced [(32.70± 12.53) h vs (43.19 ±14.86)h,t =8.380 6,P ＜0.05]; Milk secretary volume, breast tenderness and development of newborns were significantly bettor(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions These findings demonstrated that breast nassage in earlier period after parturition could advance milk secretion time, add milk secretary volume, relief breast tenderness and promote the development of newborns.
