Abstract

As the population grows, it is crucial to create a yield that will feed the expanding population. To do this, it is required to control diseases in crops, vegetables, and fruits because they are a major cause of production losses. Different illnesses harm sponge gourd, which reduces output. Many pesticides are being utilized, which is lowering the soil's quality, to address this problem. In addition to polluting the environment, these chemicals also cause soil pollution. Pathogens now exhibit resistance as a result of the usage of specific fungicides. From the bioaccumulation of contaminants in food chains to their widespread use in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, synthetic pesticides have a detrimental effect on human health. Bioagents and botanicals are secure alternative methods for the management of diseases that can be used to solve this problem. These botanicals and bioagents are safe for the environment and maintain the soil's quality.
