Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of blood sampling with puncture trocar (INTIMA) indwelling in veins on oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT).Methods Six volunteers were drawn fasting venous blood with routine venipuncture,and at the same time,they were drawn blood after oral glucose for 30\,60\,120 and 180 min,respectively,with puncture trocar indwelling in veins.And the sugar concentration was measured with glucose oxidase.Results It showed no significance in measuring OGTT with the above-mentioned methods (P0.05).Conclusions Blood sampling with puncture trocar indwelling in veins can replace routine venipuncture for 5 times,which can alleviate the patients' pain significantly.
