Abstract

The sample of metaphosphate glass Ba(PO3)2 was investigated using the electrical conductivity measurements in the range of frequencies 10 Hz-2 MHz and over range of temperatures 643 K–750 K. The aim of this work is the investigation of effect BaO modifier to the structure of phosphate glass using dielectric relaxation spectroscopy which allows us study the fundamental properties of the investigated materials like ac conductivity, dc conductivity and electric modulus formalism. The temperature dependences of dc and ac conductivities were investigated in accordance with Jonscher's universal power law and experimental values of imaginary part of electric modulus were fitted by KWW function. The estimated values of activation energy for dc conduction and electric modulus are very close.
