Abstract

Effect of anthranilic acid concentrations (10 −10 –10 −3 M) on the growth of Anacystis nidulans and Tolypothrix tenuis , under aseptic conditions, has been described. Anthranilic acid promoted the growth of T. tenuis at the concentrations of 10 −10 –10 −6 M whereas it failed to stimulate the growth of A. nidulans .
