Abstract

In this paper, the effects of correlation between antenna elements on the performance of direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) systems were investigated over frequency selective Rayleigh fading channels. Performances of two well known linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) receiver structures of reverse link are compared with different correlation levels. Three different correlation models are studied to see the sensitivity of the overall system to a specific channel correlation model. A new approximate method is devised to obtain the average bit error probability (BER) curves.
