Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of ambroxol hydrochloric acid combined with azithromycin in the treatment of children with bronchopneumonia and the effect on neutrophil function. Methods 94 children with bronchopneumonia admitted into our hospital from August, 2016 to September, 2017 were selected as study objects and were randomly divided into a control group (n = 45, azithromycin treatment) and a study group (n = 45, ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin treatment). The treatment effects, clinical symptoms, neutrophil function, and other indicators in both groups were observed. Resμlts The total effective rate was 95.74% (45/47) in the study group and 74.47% (35/47) in the control group (P 0.05); and the increase in the study group was more obvious (P 0.05) . Conclusion Ambroxol hydrochloride acid combined with azithromycin in the treatment of children with bronchopneumonia can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms and improve neutrophil phagocytosis and clinical efficacy, so it is worth being clinically generalized. Key words: Ambroxol hydrochloride acid; Azithromycin; Children with bronchopneumonia; Neutrophil function
