Abstract

The study investigates the role of alkali and alkaline-earth metals upon the characterization as well as the resistivity to coke formation and nickel sintering of nickel-alumina catalysts. The catalysts were characterized by the techniques of X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed reduction, temperature-programmed deposition, temperature-programmed hydrogenation and the catalytic cracking of n-hexane in a plug flow reactor
