Abstract
AbstractThe effect of olivine, dolomite and bentonite additions on the strength, reducibility and swelling of low silica pellets from northwestern Ontario was studied. Pellets of good reducibility and strength could be produced by the addition of olivine and bentonite. However, dolomite additions had a detrimental effect on the swelling of the pellets. Correlations are presented on the basis of regression analysis of the data.
