Abstract

In recent years, in order to shorten design and development time, reduction studies based on mathematical formulations are increasingly being conducted without experiments and prototypes. In this paper, the effect of added mass on the coupling loss factor of SEA parameters is investigated in order to design structures in early design stage for vibration noise. Currently, theoretical formulations for CLFs with uniform structures have been identified, but those with non-uniform mass and stiffness have not been considered. First, we examined these CLFs using non-uniform and uniform panels. The results showed that the CLFs decreased with increasing mass. Therefore, we further examine them using intensively attached mass beams.
